Dashboards
Project Gateway contains a powerful feature called Dashboards. The Project Dashboard, shown here, shows all projects in the repository organized by program.

Dashboards are agent driven displays that summarize hundreds or thousands of details into a concise management summary.
These displays show interpretive color coded indicators and a collection of project statistics.
The four standard project indicators shown are Time, Effort, Progress and Issues.
For each project you set targets for the Completion Time and Completion Effort. These can be set automatically
from the published schedule, the baseline, or set manually to whatever is the
real management goal. The colored indicators show Green when the project projections are within target, Blue when within
115% or two weeks of target, Red for 150% or one month late, and a bomb symbol when the deviation is greater.
The Progress indicator measures the amount of scheduled work when should have been completed but is
not yet completed to the amount of remaining work. As more work is left "undone" the indicator changes
from a happy face to a bomb symbol.
The Issues indicator measures the number of open issues that have not been resolved by their
due dates as a fraction of the total number of issues. As issues dates are missed, the indicator
changes color.
There are four dashboards in the Project Gateway System - The Project Dashboard shown above, the Deliverables Dashboard,
the Costing Dashboard, and the Request Dashboard.
