Workload Forecasts
Knowing how individuals, teams, and departments are already committed is critical to
making smart decisions about future goals. Project Gateway provides integrated views
that roll up commitments by period to individual, department, project and program
totals. These views always reflect the most current plans and actuals as well as
integrating projects built with different PM systems, from different sites, and even those
assignments created within Notes that are not a part of any formal plan.
Time Summary Reporting
Project Gateway records hours by period and tabulates them in Time summary views.
Always up to date, these views provide an easy way to ascertain where effort is being
expended.
Key Events
Key Events are project milestones and other assignments that you consider to be
important for management. Project Gateway provides special views, agents, and charts
for tracking the Key Events of your projects and reporting on their status.
Performance Measurement
Project Gateway maintains "baseline" reference dates and effort estimates for every
assignment and project. Integrated views show how well actual work is tracking the
plans from project, department and methodology perspectives at both summary and
detailed levels. This helps you recognize problems and also provides a reference
for improving planning and estimating for future projects.
