Home

1. Activity Gateway presents everything you need from the personalized HOME panel and the simple left menu. Tabs are used throughout the application so you do not have to be switching from page to page to find what you want.

Colors

2. Colors are used to show the status of activities in lists and diagrams. If it needs attention, it stands out in Activity Gateway.

Timesheet

3. While the use of time reporting is completely optional, it is also amazingly convenient. Simply click the time sheet tab on your HOME panel and type directly into the grid. It's the easiest and most flexible time reporting system we have ever built and it works for both Notes and Web users.

Center

4. Activity Centers consolidate your work situation into single page. The actual tabs and properties are user customized, so you can choose what features will be made available to your team. The dropdown menu lets you create new activities.

Reports

5. From each activity center, the Reports menu will display dozens of selective tables such as this one.

Action

6. Action Items are just one of the many activities that you can use to coordinate and document work.

Problem

7. Activity forms do not have to be generic. You can create as many specific variations as you might like to include specific questions and text entry sections so that users can working in their business language, not ours. Creating forms like this one takes only a few minutes.

TimePlan

8. You might be surprised to find out that Activity Gateway lets you plan the future allocation of resources to any level of detail. A simple planning spreadsheet lets you allocate by % or specific hours, and signals over-commitments. An allocation sheet shows the total annual plan for each person.

Goal

9. Goals are projects, or project phases, within activity centers. The goal provides the objective and the due date that differentiates a project from routine work. Each goal can cluster any number of activities to accomplish its purpose, all of which appear in the tabs. Activity Gateway lets you link goals to one another, transfer activities between goals, and do what-if planning to optimize the schedule of activities that support the goal.

Goal Map

10. Activity Gateway's GoalMap make it very easy to understand the relationships among activities, goals, and centers. The action proceeds from left to right.

Blocks

11. Block Diagrams show both supporting relationships as well as activity status in a format that everyone understands.

Pipelines

12. Activity Pipelines provides a graphic overview of all the action in your goal, center, group or repository, sliced and diced in dozens of useful ways. Just clicking the pipelines will reveal details of the activities themselves. Columns can categorize by the or group by date forming a unique interactive calendar.

Gantt

13. Gantt Charts not only show activity dues dates, but also dependencies. When draw at the center level, they show vertical bars for each goal.

Setup Panel

14. The Setup & Customization panel brings together all the tools for adapting the system to your business, as well as providing access to the simple administrative controls.

Checklist

15. Checklists provide a great way to handle details without making lots of activities. Any number can be prewritten, and then selected for use in new action item, goals and other activities.

Doc Type

16. Simple, assembly sheet forms like this one allow you to create task specific forms of documents, deliverables, changes, and problems. These type definitions are used dynamically when you create new activities.

Rule

17. Rules generate activities automatically when the conditions that you select are met. If you do any kind of infrastructure support, or business process, you'll find that rules provide a powerful assistant.

Google Map

18. Activity Centers can be given physical locations, and naturally that means they can be rendered on Google Maps with just a click.

Request

19. Requests provide a way for people to formally request support from specific activity centers. A complete workflow allows for a disciplined yet responsive process, and clear communication.

Net Diagram

20. When managing infrastructure, availability is always a concern. Here one of AG's Net diagrams shows the impact of an outage on other, dependent systems.

21. The About Panel provides a full glossary of the system terminology, legends for symbols and colors and license details. Plus direct access to the source code for the open source components.
